You don’t have to run a PR to have a good race. Ran the Derby Festival Mini Marathon this morning. Since I had surgery in February and not a lot of miles ran since, goal was to just finish even if I needed to walk. Second goal depending on how I felt maybe under 8 minute pace. Finished the course in 1:40:34 7:39 pace. I’m thankful that God watches over me and that I’m able to go out and run. A long way to go back to fitness but a good start! Thanks Pacers and Racers Family Footwear for the new racing jersey. I liked the new course too!
